I guess I was asking more of a concrete question than an existential one. This rubble shot is a picture of something. I cannot identify it (clearly a sort of sign ending in "y"). What is it? Also, in whose gene pool are rubble shots? :-) Did you get this gene from those weird Merzigs, or are you starting to adopt genes from the Burrington side? :-P
I don't know who is accusing me of having the need to take rubble-shots embedded in my genetic material; I assume the comment originated from Dad's twenty-something moody-photographer phase.
Anyway, this is of an old "no parking" sign - the kind with just the P crossed out. It says "tow away" under the P. I liked it because it's weathered in a really nice way: there are these strings of pock-marks that run along the sign, it's beginning to rust and the paint is beginning to get goose-bumpy. I thought it had a really nice combination of textures.

Ruble shots are part of the gene pool. I'll scan some old ones and add them.
